Malisse breezes through the second round
The third day of the Aircel Chennai Open 2011, saw an easy win for Xavier Malisse (BEL) who beat Stephane Robert of France 6-2, 6-2 in a second round singles match.
Malisse got 60% of his first serves in and broke serve twice to win the first set 6-2. Although the Frenchman saved a break point, Malisse weakened his opponent by breaking serve and aced his way to win the second set 6-2.
Xavier Malisse (BEL) will now play the quarter finals against the unseeded German Bjorn Phau who upset Richard Gasquet earlier in the day.
