Haase-Martin set to play the 'Indian Express'

Robin Haase (NED) and David Martin (USA) defeated doubles partners Simone Bolelli (ITA) and Janko Tipsarevic (SRB) in the doubles semi finals match at the 2011 Aircel Chennai Open 2-6, 6-3, 10-7.

Bolelli and Tipsarevic, who got 55% of their first serve in and saved 2 break points, got off to a quick 5-0 start, and went on to win the first set 6-2. The Haase-Martin duo came back strongly in the second set, breaking their opponent’s serve and pulled out 5 aces to win the set 6-3. In the third set, Haase and Martin rode the momentum from winning the 2nd set, to win the deciding super tie-breaker 10-7. The fans at the stadium were excited to see the Haase-Martin duo extending their winning streak and cheered them on.

Robin Haase (NED)/ David Martin (USA) will now play the finals against the “Indian express” Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi, who have previously won the doubles title at this event on 4 previous occasions.
